The Financial Sector Transformation Council (FSTC) officially launched the 2023/24 State of Transformation Annual Report (SoTAR) on 23 February 2026. The report is themed “Marking 20 Years of Financial Sector Reporting”, celebrating two decades of structured monitoring, measurement, and accountability in advancing transformation across South Africa’s financial sector.

SAIA is delighted to announce that Inseta has approved the implementation of the 2026 Retiree Repurposing Programme (RRP), a fully funded 12-month initiative valued at R8 million. The upcoming cohort will include 50 mentees across junior to senior management levels, supported by 25 experienced industry mentors, starting on 1 May 2026. Having already generated strong interest in 2025, SAIA is now moving forward with mentee–mentor matching.

As climate change makes weather more unpredictable, these flash floods are emerging as a silent road-safety crisis, endangering drivers, damaging infrastructure, and burdening the insurance industry.
